Driving Licence Renewal Kab Karwayein?

Aap apne Driving Licence ki expiry date se 1 saal pehle tak aur expiry ke 8 saal baad tak renew karwa sakte hain. Lekin, recommend kiya jaata hai ki aap expiry se kam se kam 30 din pehle renewal process shuru kar dein, taaki aapko koi legal complication na ho. Agar aap expiry ke baad renew karte hain, toh late fees lag sakti hai.

Driving Licence renewal ke liye aapko kuch khaas documents ki zaroorat padegi:

• Original Driving Licence: Jo licence aap renew karwana chahte hain.
• Form 9: Application for Renewal of Driving Licence. Yeh form aap Sarathi Parivahan portal se download kar sakte hain ya RTO office se le sakte hain.
• Form 1 (Self-declaration of physical fitness): Agar aap non-transport vehicle ka licence renew karwa rahe hain.
• Form 1A (Medical Certificate): Agar aapki age 40 saal ya usse zyada hai, ya fir aap commercial/transport vehicle ka licence renew karwa rahe hain. Iske liye aapko ek registered medical practitioner se check-up karwana hoga.
• Passport-size Photographs: Do ya teen recent passport-size photos (white/light background preferred).
• Proof of Age: (Self-attested copies) Jaise Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, Passport.
• Proof of Address: (Self-attested copies) Jaise Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill.
• NOC (No Objection Certificate): Agar aap apna DL kisi dusre state se renew karwa rahe hain jahan se woh original issued nahi hua tha.

Online Driving Licence Renewal Process

Online process zyada convenient aur faster hai.

1. Sarathi Parivahan Portal Visit Karein: Sabse pehle, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) ke official Sarathi Parivahan portal par jaayen: https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/stateSelection.do
2. Apna State Select Karein: Website par jaakar, drop-down menu se apna state (राज्य) choose karein jahan aapka DL registered hai.
3. "Apply for DL Renewal" Option Chunein: Homepage par "Driving Licence Related Services" section mein jaakar "Apply for DL Renewal" option par click karein.
4. Details Enter Karein: Instructions carefully padhein. Phir apna Driving Licence Number, Date of Birth aur Captcha Code enter karein. "Get DL Details" par click karein.
5. Application Form Bharein: Apni details verify karein aur phir Form 9 (application for DL renewal) mein zaroori jaankari bharein. Agar required ho toh RTO, licence category aur state select karein.
6. Documents Upload Karein: Sabhi required documents (jaise passport-size photo, signature, age proof, address proof, medical certificate, etc.) ki scanned copies upload karein. Ensure karein ki documents clear aur legible hon.
7. Fees Pay Karein: Online payment gateway ka use karke renewal fees pay karein.
   • Renewal Fee: Generally, ₹200 hoti hai.

9. Renewed DL Receive Karein: Documents verification aur approval ke baad, aapka renewed Driving Licence aapke registered address par post ke through bhej diya jaayega, ya aap use RTO se collect kar sakte hain. Isme typically 15-30 din lag sakte hain.

Offline Driving Licence Renewal Process

Agar aap online process prefer nahi karte, toh aap RTO office jaakar bhi renew karwa sakte hain.

1. Nearest RTO Office Visit Karein: Apne area ke Regional Transport Office (RTO) jaayen.
2. Application Form Collect Karein: RTO se Form 9 (Application for Renewal of Driving Licence) aur Form 1 (Self-declaration of physical fitness) / Form 1A (Medical Certificate) collect karein. Aap inhe Sarathi Parivahan portal se download karke print bhi kar sakte hain.
3. Forms Fill Karein aur Documents Attach Karein: Saare forms sahi se bharein aur upar bataye gaye zaroori documents ki self-attested copies attach karein. Original documents bhi verification ke liye saath rakhein.
4. Documents Submit Karein: Bhare hue forms aur documents RTO counter par submit karein. Agar aap dusre state se renew karwa rahe hain, toh NOC bhi submit karna hoga.
